Job summary

UTG/The Stanford is seeking a Dishwasher to clean, sanitize, and store restaurant equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, hand-washing when needed, restocking, and supporting kitchen staff. Must follow health codes and company policies; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Operate dishwashing machine and use cleaning agents properly.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand as needed.
• Store clean items properly for easy access by staff.
• Keep kitchen floors, walls, and trash areas clean.
• Take out kitchen trash regularly.
• Assist with sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures per health codes and company policies.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
• Assist in food prep or other kitchen duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher position is responsible for properly cleaning, sanitizing, and storing restaurant equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This includes restocking cleaning chemicals, organizing supplies, promptly removing trash, and keeping the dishwashing area orderly and sanitary at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and ensure proper use of cleaning agents.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand when necessary.
• Ensure all clean items are properly stored and readily available for back and front of house staff.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and trash areas as needed.
• Take out kitchen garbage regularly.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by health codes and company policies.
• Notify management of any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Assist in food prep or other kitchen duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
