Job summary

Camp Richardson Hospitality LLC in The Grove is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen area and support back-of-house staff. You will ensure proper cleaning, sanitizing and organization of dishware and utensils in a fast-paced setting.

We require a California Food Handler Certificate within 1 month, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for day/evening/weekend shifts. Competitive pay and onsite parking are among the benefits. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Obtain California Food Handler Certificate within 1 month of employment.
• Ability to take direction and adapt tasks quickly.
• Able to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Fast-paced, small-kitchen environment with others nearby.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to dishwashing procedures to clean, sanitize and store dishware.
• Work with back-of-house staff to clean kitchenware efficiently.
• Organize items as they are cleaned and restock areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, kitchen and storage.
• Follow safety manuals and proper chemical use and storage.
• Manage trash flow and outdoor garbage bins for a clean area.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor area outside the kitchen.

Summary Of Position

Provide a clean and safe kitchen area, according to Company procedures, keeping the dish-room and equipment clean and organized at all times.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Company’s dishwashing procedures to ensure that all expectations regarding the cleaning, sanitizing and storing of dishware and utensils are met
• Work closely as a team with back of house kitchen staff to ensure that all kitchenware is cleaned in a timely, safe and efficient manner
• Organize items as they are cleaned, restock areas where items are stored
• Maintain cleanliness of work station, kitchen and food storage areas
• Follow all procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals in accordance with company policies and follow proper use and storage of chemicals used to clean kitchen items
• Manage trash flow and outdoor garbage bins to maintain a clean environment, ensuring secured trash storage
• Maintain cleanliness of the outdoor area outside the kitchen

Position Requirements

• Obtain California Food Handler Certificate within 1 month of employment
• Ability to take direction and change tasks quickly
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and carry up to 25lbs.
• Majority of shift spent on feet in a fast-paced small-kitchen environment, in close proximity to other people

Education And Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: six (6) months of dishwashing experience preferred
