Job summary

Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q in Smyrna, TN is seeking a reliable, hardworking dishwasher. You will keep dishes moving, maintain a clean dish pit and floors, and pitch in wherever the team needs help to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

No prior experience is required. This hands-on, high-energy role offers opportunities for advancement from the line to pitmaster and kitchen manager as you grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Move dishes, utensils, and smallwares through the dishwashing process.

• Support overall kitchen operations as part of a fast-paced team.

What You'll Do

Keep dishes, utensils, and smallwares moving through the machine and back to the line, keep the dish pit and kitchen floors clean and safe, and jump in wherever the team needs a hand. You keep the whole restaurant running. We know it, and we don't forget it.

The Physical Stuff: This role is hands-on and high-energy. You’ll be on your feet 8+ hours a day standing and walking for extended periods while lifting up to 50 lbs in a live kitchen and stock room areas. Bending, reaching, climbing, and equipment operation are all part of the craft.
