Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support weekend dining services for residents in Guilderland, NY. You will keep the kitchen clean and sanitary while promoting a restaurant-style dining experience for our senior residents.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in food service; compassion for the elderly is essential. Flexible scheduling and team-focused environment offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year working in food service industry preferred.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Strictly adhere to PSL procedures regarding infection control and safety.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with PSL policy.
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner.

We are currently seeking a part-time Dishwasher. Schedule: Part Time (weekend availability required). Salary: $16.00-$16.50 per hour – based on experience.

Dishwasher Responsibilities include

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition
• Strictly adhere to PSL procedures regarding infection control, foodborne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety, sanitization, promptly reporting any transgression to supervisor
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with PSL policy and procedures
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner

Dishwasher Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 1 year working in food service industry preferred
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
