RA Sushi - North Scottsdale is seeking a dishwashing team member to help maintain cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced restaurant environment in Scottsdale, AZ. You will operate and monitor the dish machine, wash and store tableware, and support kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, reporting equipment issues, and assisting with other duties as needed to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Basic food handling knowledge is acceptable.
• Prior kitchen experience in dishwashing is helpful but not required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Load, run and unload the dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report issues promptly.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature for sanitary wash cycles.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dish room clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining and kitchen.
• Trash dish room bags and haul to dumpster as scheduled.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate supplies of detergents per SDS.
• Clean food prep and production areas as required.
• Fill in as needed to ensure restaurant operations run smoothly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Position Summary:

Responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment as well as all utility and/or maintenance duties in the restaurant as assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Loads, runs and unloads the dish machine.
• Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitors dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keeps dish room clean and organized.
• Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bags and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
• Handles tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies in accordance with SDS.
• Cleans food preparation and production areas as required.
• Fills in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or kitchen chef.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Basic food preparation knowledge preferred.
• Previous experience in food preparation preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in a restaurant, catering business or hotel kitchen highly desirable.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
