Job summary

Responsibilities

• Handwash, rinse and sanitize pots, pans and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, floors, drains and equipment.
• Remove trash and recyclables to collection areas.
• Transport carts to patient floors and retrieve carts after meal service.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned.

Clean food dish cart after the removal of soiled patient trays.Operates dishwasher to ensure all dishes and utensils are clean. Monitor and maintain dish machine chemical levels to ensure proper sanitation of service ware.Handwashes, rinses and sanitizes pots, pans and utensilsCleans the kitchen area and cooking utensils.Cleans and maintains floors in dish room, walk-in and kitchen areas. Cleans all drains in dish machine, dish room and kitchen. Cleans all major equipment, hoods and facility on a scheduled basis when assigned.Removes trash and recyclable items and transports to collection areas.Transports carts to patient floors and retrieves carts at end of meal service.
