Dishwasher & Housekeeping Position
Full Time, 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: Based on Experience ($17.43 - $22.29)
Availability Needed: Sunday-Saturday for 8 variable hour shifts between 6am-10:30pm
Primary Shift: 2pm-10:30pm
Required: rotating holiday & weekend coverage

Cleans and sanitizes dishes
Collects carts with patient trays from hospital floors.
Cleans and disinfects assigned areas including dining areas using department cleaning procedures.
Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.
Operates and maintains assigned equipment (e.g. commercial dishwasher) according to established procedures.

Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (required).
One or more year of experience in custodial services or food services (preferred).
Demonstrates ability to read color coded labels and chemicals as well as following written and verbal directions
Demonstrate ability to operate housekeeping equipment and dish machine (preferred)
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
Occasional interaction with customers that requires employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.
Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
Remain standing for long periods of time to perform work.
Tolerate extremes in temperature such as performing work around dish machines and tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals.
