RoadHouse Cinemas is opening a new location in Sahuarita, Arizona. The Stewards role is an entry level position as dishwasher, assisting in operations and ensuring functions are performed to the highest level of quality, policy and procedures adherence.

We are hosting a Hiring Fair on October 23 & 24 at our new location, 70 W Duval Mine Rd, to meet candidates for the opening team. No prior experience is required; a Food Handlers card may be required per location as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and keep it clean.
• Load, run, and unload the dish machine; maintain sanitary wash cycles.
• Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware; keep dish area organized.

RoadHouse Cinemas is excited to be opening our newest location in Sahuarita, Arizona! We are currently accepting applications and building our opening team. Our anticipated opening is mid-November 2026. Because we are currently in the construction and pre-opening phase, this timeline is an estimate and may change based on construction progress and other opening requirements.

Job Summary

The role of the Stewards is an entry level position as dishwasher, assisting in operations and ensuring functions are performed to the highest level of quality, policy and procedures adherence.

Essential Functions

• Work in a professional and courteous manner.
• Loads, runs and unloads the dish machine
• Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitors dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle and test PPM’s.
• Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keeps dish room clean and organized.
• Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bags and haul trash to dumpster.
• Maintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies in accordance with standards.
• Cleans food preparation and production areas as required.
• Fills in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or kitchen chef.
• Keep floors, walk-ins, and freezers mopped.
• Assist the rest of the kitchen as needed.
• Review bathroom cleanliness (per training guidelines).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

• No previous experience necessary.
• Food Handlers card (as required per location).

Overtime Notice: This position is employed by a motion picture theater. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), employees of motion picture theater establishments are exempt from federal overtime requirements. As a result, employees in this position are not entitled to overtime premium pay (1.5× the regular rate) for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. Employees will be paid their applicable regular rate for all hours worked.
