Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing duties: retrieve trays, clean carts, run dish machine, wash pots, place clean dishes.
• Janitorial duties: trash disposal, sweeping, mopping.
• Deliver food service trays to customers while maintaining sanitation and quality.
• Assist in assembling and delivering patient/customer meals per procedures.
• Support the organization's visions, values and strategies.
• Maintain sanitation standards per policy and regulatory agencies.
• Operate and maintain equipment as assigned.
• Keep department records and reports as required.
• Participate in educational meetings/in-services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

Join our Food & Nutrition team and play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and positive experience for our patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you'll help keep our hospital kitchen and cafeteria running smoothly by supporting meal service, collecting and organizing meal trays and carts, operating dishwashing equipment, and ensuring dishes, utensils, and work areas are clean and ready for use. Responsibilities

• Dishwashing duties include retrieving trays from dirty utility room, cleaning off meal carts, sending dirty dishes through dish machine, washing pots, placing clean dishes in designated work area.
• Janitorial duties include throwing trash, sweeping and mopping.
• Participate in delivery of food services tray to customers, while maintaining quality and sanitation standards as needed
• Participates in assembly and delivery of patient/customer meals in accordance with established criteria and procedures.
• Supports the organizations visions, values and strategies.
• Maintains and supports sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies.
• Operates and maintains equipment commensurate with job assignment.
• Ensures quality guidelines are maintained as they pertain to the area assigned.
• Maintains department records, reports and files as required.
• Participates in educational meetings/in-services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Less than high school. Less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment. Minimal legal age for consideration is 16.
