Job summary

Lazy Dog Restaurants, LLC is looking for a diligent dishwasher at our Rancho Cucamonga location. You will keep the dish room and kitchenware clean, operate and maintain the dish machine, and help sustain a sanitary, organized work area for the team.

You will sort and rack dirty dishes, carry clean items to the line, and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals. We value tidiness, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• High school level education preferred.
• Experience in dishwashing and sanitation is desirable.
• Familiarity with dishwashing chemicals and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dish room and adjacent areas clean and organized.
• Sort, rinse and rack dirty dishes and utensils for the dish machine.
• Carry clean dishes to storage and cook’s line as needed.
• Change dishwater in the machine and maintain sanitation standards.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays and handle cleaning solutions safely.

Dishwasher: At this location, our dishwashers earn $16.90 / hour and an additional $2 on average per hour in tips.

If you love to keep plate ware, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils clean and sanitized, while maintaining the dish machine, dish room, prep area, equipment, then this is the job for you. You are super tidy and like to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the dish room and adjacent areas of the restaurants. You are familiar with the chemicals used in the dish machine and daily cleaning procedures.

• You like a clean restaurant, you sweep and mop floors, wipe down workstations, walls, and furniture, and remove trash
• You sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine
• You sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas
• You change dishwater in the dish machine as required.
• You wash pots, pans, and trays
• You fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
• You assemble/disassemble the dish machine
