Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the dish and kitchen areas.
Essential Functions

• Operate dishwashing machines to ensure all items are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Handwash, rinse, and sanitize pots, pans, and utensils as needed.
• Clean and maintain the dish room, kitchen, and related equipment.
• Remove and transport trash and recyclables to designated collection areas.
• Assist in transporting carts to and from patient floors and monitor the cleanliness of the doctors lounge dish return cart.
• Perform scheduled cleaning of the trash compactor area and food service alley.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Some high school education required.

Experience and Certifications

• Food Handlers Card preferred.
