Job description

Conceptually Social Catering offers dynamic menus and event experiences customized to client's event needs. We are the premier event coordinator and caterer in Downtown Phoenix. We produce multiple types of cuisine and have a teacher-first philosophy for employees so we can continue to promote from within.

Availability :

• Full Time AM shifts.

Compensation :

• Starting at $14 / hr and up depending on experience.
• Benefits available for FT

Requirements :

• 19 years or older
• Food handling card or certification through approved organization
• Able to lift and move 50 pounds
• Able to sustain working long hours on your feet
• Should have reliable transportation to get to scheduled shifts on time
• Ability to multi-task
• Experience with basic prep and recipe execution a plus but not required
• Can follow directives and instructions, on the spot, during busy times
• Has a sense of urgency

MAIN DUTIES :

• Wash dishes and keep dish area and equipment areas clean and organized
• Apply proper food and chemical handling outlined by your food certification training
• General cleaning and mopping of dining kitchen and bathroom areas regularly to maintain sanitation standards
• Help put away orders and organize food and paper product areas
• When cleaning and washing dishes, make sure the proper chemical is being used for the task at hand, and check for proper chemical dilution regularly
• Assist kitchen with any cleaning deep duties to maintain proper sanitation standards
• Throw out garbage throughout the shift
• Help pack and load food for events
• Help kitchen cooks and chefs with light prep duties when needed
