• Strict adherence to restaurant food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and full uniform compliance.
• Punctuality: starting exactly at 2:00 PM on scheduled days.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing operations: wash, rinse, and sanitize all line pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware using commercial sinks.
• Kitchen support and organization: keep back-of-house tidy and return clean tools to storage locations promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation: keep the dish area free of debris and regularly sweep/mop.
• Closing duties: complete nightly closing checklists and reset the dish area for next day’s shift.
• Physical stamina: stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs.

What You’ll Do

As a Dishwasher at MIKKIS CAFE PEARLAND, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:

• Dishwashing Operations: Efficiently washing, rinsing, and sanitizing all line pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware using our commercial three-compartment sinks.
• Kitchen Support & Organization: Keeping the back-of-house meticulously organized and promptly returning clean tools and pans to their designated storage locations.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintaining an orderly dish pit free of standing water or debris by regularly sweeping and mopping.
• Closing Duties: Completing nightly closing checklists to ensure the dish area is fully reset, sanitized, and ready for the next day’s prep shift.
• Physical Stamina: Standing for extended periods in a warm kitchen environment and safely lifting baskets or trash bins weighing up to 40–50 lbs.
