Job summary

OTO Development, a hotel development and management company, is hiring a Dishwasher to support the Food and Beverage team at our Florida property. You will operate and maintain the dishwashing area, ensure cleanliness of china and cookware, and help with kitchen upkeep and safety.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, unloading shipments, and keeping floors dry and free of debris. This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety procedures in a

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Able to stock items on shelves above eye level.
• Aware of safety procedures in kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the operation and cleanliness of the dish washing machine
• Be responsible for washing of all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen, and banquet department
• Breakdown of all boxes and emptying trash containers into the dumpster
• Clean walls in kitchen as appropriate
• Clean floor mats, sweeps, and mops entire kitchen floor daily
• Assist in the cleaning of ovens and refrigerators regularly
• Ensure that the dish machine is reading at the appropriate temperature to ensure proper sanitization of dishes
• Ensure that the floor is kept dry and free of debris at all times
• Assist with unloading shipments, dating items, and putting items away

Physical Requirements For This Position

This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
