Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers also handle trash disposal and linen bag removal. Ensure washed items meet temperature criteria, and help provide guests with a clean and enjoyable dining experience by maintaining spotless plates and silverware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils
• Practice food safety and sanitation
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed
• Perform general cleaning of the restaurant
• Manage dish execution pace and organization
• Understand and operate the dish machine and its chemicals
• Change water and chemicals as needed
• Keep floors clean and dry
• Ensure plates and smallware are clean
• Inspect food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas for safety and health compliance
• Report unsafe practices or conditions to management

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (a plus)
• Team player
• Availability to work various shifts (opens, swings, closes)
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs
• Good vision and ability to work in hot/cold environments
• Manual dexterity and reach with hands and arms
