Job summary

Wegmans in Norwalk, CT is looking for a part-time dishwasher to support our kitchen operations. Evening shifts (including weekends) with potential late finishes help keep dishes and supplies ready for our teams as they deliver our culinary offerings.

You’ll wash dishes, help put away loads, and perform other kitchen duties, including light food prep. You’ll assist with receiving products, rotating stock, and keeping the kitchen area clean and organized for safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Part-time availability evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods in a kitchen environment.

As a dishwasher, you will help to ensure the kitchen staff has clean dishes and supplies needed to prepare our unique culinary offerings. What will I do?

• Support culinary operations by washing dishes, putting away dish loads and performing other kitchen duties as necessary, including some food prep work

• Assist with receiving of products, stock rotation and general kitchen organization and cleanliness

• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area to ensure work gets completed in the most effective and safest way possible
