Job summary

Wegmans in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support culinary operations by washing dishes, putting away dish loads, and assisting with general kitchen duties.

You will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, maintain cleanliness, and participate in some food prep work while providing reliable team support during afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Part-time availability in the afternoon and evening, including weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and put away dish loads; assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
• Assist with receiving, stock rotation and general kitchen organization.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area for safety and efficiency.

What will I do?

• Support culinary operations by washing dishes, putting away dish loads and performing other kitchen duties as necessary, including some food prep work

• Assist with receiving of products, stock rotation and general kitchen organization and cleanliness

• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area to ensure work gets completed in the most effective and safest way possible
