Job Title: Dishwasher

Location: TOURISTS hotel

Employment Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full-Time and Seasonal Part-time

Reports Directly To: Executive Chef

Pay Rate: $15.50/hour

Responsibilities:

1. Wash and clean dishes, pots, and pans at the Lodge or The Airport Rooms.
2. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the plateware and serviceware at the hotel.
3. Restock dishes in the proper location after cleaning.
4. Check in and out with Management at the beginning and end of shifts.
5. Comply with food safety regulations.

Additional Requirements:

• Maintain professionalism, appropriate attire, and good manners on-site.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in work areas.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and report any issues to management.
• Follow safety, emergency procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Attend relevant meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Personal Performance Standards:

• Knowledge of seasonal and local ingredients and trends.
• Proper management of tools, equipment, and materials.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or GED, or relevant trade school training.

Competencies:

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in primary language(s) of the workplace.
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents.

Working Conditions/Environment:

• Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to schedule changes.
• Work in various environments within the property, some restrictive.
• Moderate noise level; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, push, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Handle hot containers and engage with kitchen equipment.
• Exposure to climate variations typical of a commercial kitchen.
