Job summary

IWS Group is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and work areas while helping the kitchen operate efficiently.

We are looking for someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to stand for long periods, and committed to sanitation and safety procedures. Flexible scheduling may be required, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Must follow proper sanitation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Load and unload commercial dishwashing machines.
• Scrape and pre-rinse dishes before washing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food-preparation tasks when needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Report broken or damaged equipment to a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the shift.
