Job summary

Troubadour Golf & Field Club, located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Dishwasher to join the Food & Beverage Culinary Department. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean kitchen in line with club guidelines.

Responsibilities include daily setups, teamwork, safety compliance, equipment maintenance, and adherence to all policies. The position requires basic kitchen experience and a professional, adaptable approach to busy service

Qualifications

• Three (3) months prior experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.
• Culinary Degree/Certification(s) or relevant on job experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation standards across kitchen areas and clean dishware.
• Provide clean utensils for F&B operations and ensure proper storage.
• Monitor chemical safety and logs, and maintain inventory levels.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and departmental objectives.

Job description

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Dishwasher to join the Food & Beverage Culinary Department.

The Dishwasher is responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools. Other responsibilities include washing dishes, china ware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment's. The Dishwasher will help maintains the kitchen, dish washing and back areas in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with local authority and club guidelines. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes and kitchen work areas, sweeping kitchen work areas, and removing trash.
• Provide clean cooking utensils for the F&B operations and ensure that all utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in the designated areas.
• Maintain safety, proper storage of chemicals, and chemical concentration logs.
• Daily set ups of china, glassware, and silverware items for all outlets.
• Participate as a team player with other key team members.
• Attends department briefings as necessary to communicate necessary.
• Completion of all opening/closing procedures as instructed.
• Assist with execution of departmental objectives and goals.
• Monitoring inventory levels through regular inventory checks.
• Maintain all equipment and be sure it is properly handled and maintained.
• Cleans and maintains floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Wash, Wipe, Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the Executive Chef.
• Always Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company policy and procedures.
• All government, safety, health, and security standards are complied with through the department at all times.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
