Homegrown Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep back-of-house areas clean and safe across shifts. You will maintain dishware, assist line cooks, and ensure sanitation standards are met in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age required.
• Prior kitchen or dishwasher experience preferred.
• Ability to follow time-sensitive guidelines and work with line cooks and other kitchen staff.
• Maintains a fast pace and high level of accuracy for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual, able to cover shifts as needed.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members and managers.
• Excellence in guest satisfaction and professional vendor interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain back-of-house cleanliness, storage areas, walk-in cooler, and external garbage area.
• Follow safety guidelines for handling products, utensils, and cleaning chemicals.
• Follow chemical usage and disposal procedures and keep wet floor signs in place.
• Manage garbage area during prep hours; keep storage areas clean and pest-free.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and small wares.
• Operate dish machine; monitor sanitizer and soap levels in three-bay sink.
• Support line cooks and prep cooks as needed.
• Keep work areas sanitized and in compliance with health regulations.

New Morning is now hiring a Dishwasher.

The Homegrown Hospitality Group is looking for a Dishwasher withto create a unique and personal experience for Homegrown Hospitality Group’s Guests by maintaining a clean, safe and presentable restaurant for all guests and employees throughout each shift, each day. This role will focus their attention on the cleanliness of the small wares and essential equipment in the kitchen with some responsibilities crossing over with other kitchen positions.

The Homegrown Hospitality Group consists of 9 different business concepts and over 15 locations located throughout South Carolina in Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach. Multiple concepts, multiple locations, one big family!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Helps maintain cleanliness in the back of house, storage and walk in cooler areas, as well as help maintain the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the external garbage area in conjunction with other essential kitchen staff
• Practices the safe handling and storage of products, cleaning utensils and chemicals in accordance to state law and creates an environment safe and hazard free
• Follows instructions in accordance to use of chemicals and their disposal, equipment and use of wet floor signs at all times
• Helps maintain all garbage inside and outside of the restaurant during prep hours by changing out the on a regular basis when full, and keeps area where garbage is stored clean and free of pests
• Helps clean and maintain all equipment and small wares used in the kitchen
• Can operate a dish machine, understands how to measure sanitizer and soap levels in a three-bay sink and handles each piece of equipment and small wares safely and properly while washing and storing
• Supports Line Cooks and prep cooks when needed as back up
• Maintains work areas in a sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with state health and safety regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Prior experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher preferred
• Ability to follow specific time-sensitive guidelines whiles at the same time engaging with line cooks, dishwashers and other essential kitchen team members
• Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
• Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule, covering shifts as necessary, and being on time for scheduled shifts
• Interaction:
