Job summary

Mintahoe Catering & Events in the Twin Cities is seeking a reliable and energetic Dishwasher to join our kitchen and event team. This role supports catering operations at multiple venues throughout the Twin Cities and ensures dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and ready for service.

The position is part-time, averaging about 30 hours per week, with nights and weekends required and travel to various event venues.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel to different venues throughout the Twin Cities.
• Must be available to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using manual or mechanical methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish areas and kitchen workspaces.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and surfaces meet sanitation and safety standards.
• Take out trash and recycling and keep disposal areas clean.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen, service, and event staff to support operations.
• Travel to various event venues as scheduled.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, lift, reach, and move throughout kitchen and event spaces. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work is performed in fast-paced kitchen and event environments at various Twin Cities venues. The position may involve exposure to heat, water, cleaning chemicals, food service equipment, and changing event conditions. Regular travel between venues is required.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 30 hours per week. Hours are variable and scheduled around event needs. This position requires availability for nights and weekends and travel to different event venues.
