Description:

As a dishwasher at bartaco, your main responsibility is to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant by maintaining and organizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment. The role involves the following major responsibilities, physical requirements, and skills:

Major Responsibilities:

• Organizing and cleaning all dirty dishes, glassware, utensils, and other items, ensuring they are properly loaded into the dishwasher for cleaning.
• Regularly emptying the dishwasher to remove water, trash, and garbage from the restaurant and disposing of it in the designated dumpster.
• Rolling and unrolling mats to clean the floors and maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing station.
• Assisting with food item preparations as needed.

Requirements:

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Physical movements such as sitting, climbing, stooping, and kneeling to perform tasks effectively.
• Endurance to tolerate long periods on your feet to manage the flow of dirty dishes and maintain cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as crates of dishes or cleaning supplies.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Multitasking efficiently in a high-volume environment, managing continuous flow of dishes while maintaining organization.
