Job summary

Pita Jungle in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain clean dishes and ensure sanitary kitchen operations. You will support the back-of-house team by prepping, cleaning, and restocking dishware as needed.

Job Title: Dishwasher

Reports To: General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: A dishwasher cleans dishes and ensures they are clean and sanitary. Restocks clean dishes to be used again.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, utensils and cookware following established procedures.
• Cleans and maintains dish area equipment.
• Tests sanitizer solution every hour for effective levels and makes changes when sanitizer is not at proper levels.
• Follows food safety and health code regulations.
• Always wears gloves and hair restraints when handling food.
• Maintains hygiene.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
