Job summary

Meetinghouse at Riverfront in Manchester, NH is seeking a part-time dishwasher for 25-30 hours per week. Shifts run 12:00 PM–6:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with occasional weekend work. You will be part of a small, supportive team dedicated to delivering a great dining experience for residents.

The role focuses on dishwashing, dining support, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area. Prior food-handling and English communication are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One to two years of related work experience preferred
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner
• Ability to safely handle food in accordance with facility policies and procedures, as well as all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and guests.
• Maintain high resident, family, and guest satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
• Effectively and appropriately communicating with each co-worker and community leader.
• Prepare, wash and store dishes.
• Clean floors using dry mops, wet mops, brooms and floor cleaning equipment, disinfecting the work area daily.
• Utilize appropriate chemicals and chemical mixtures in all aspects of cleaning duties, handling them appropriately
• Assist with setting tables, serving meals, and bussing tables.
• Deliver and retrieve kitchen supplies from resident apartments.
• Operate commercial equipment according to manufacturer specification and complete temp logs.
• Assist dining associates in cleaning food service areas and equipment, sweeping and mopping floors and completing assigned cleaning duties.
• Regular and predictable attendance daily.

Shift Details:
