A leading company is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in food service routines, meal preparation, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and effective communication skills. This role involves physical demands and requires a food handler's certificate.
The dietary aide assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and effectively communicate with managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Requires standing and walking frequently, sitting occasionally, reaching, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision must include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception with the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment is usually low to moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
