Belmont Village Senior Living in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to uphold sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen. You will operate the dish machine, clean equipment, and help keep food service areas organized and safe while supporting cooks and staff in serving residents with care.

The role emphasizes reliability, a team mindset, and the ability to work a fast-paced schedule on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 1:00pm to 9:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.

ABOUT THE ROLE

(Part Time) Thursday, Friday and Saturday 1:00pm- 9:00pm

As a Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be the heart of our dining service program! The Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and for ensuring that all food preparation equipment, dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized and safely and efficiently stored and ready for use. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
