Belmont Village Senior Living in Coral Gables seeks a dedicated Dishwasher to support our dining services. You will handle sanitation, clean the kitchen, operate the dish machine, and ensure safe storage of equipment while contributing to a hospitable environment for residents.

The ideal candidate is reliable, thrives in a fast-paced setting, communicates clearly in English, and helps maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Demonstrates professional, pleasant and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Ability to follow instructions for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operation.
• Ability to work shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable attendance essential for Belmont Village employees.
• Employment conditional on background check, drug screen, physical and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction a top priority in every interaction.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be the heart of our dining service program! The Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and for ensuring that all food preparation equipment, dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized and safely and efficiently stored and ready for use. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast‑paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
