Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers are also responsible for trash disposal and linen bag removal. A Dishwasher ensures that washed items meet the rinse and wash temperature criteria for each state. As a Dishwasher, you’ll help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience by showcasing our food on perfectly clean plates and silverware.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintaining organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils
• Practicing food safety and sanitation
• Restocking kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift
• Performing general cleaning of the restaurant
• Managing pace and organization of dish execution
• Understanding how the dish machine operates and all chemical components
• Changing out water and chemicals as needed
• Keeping floors clean and dry
• Ensuring plates and smallware are clean
• Maintaining and inspecting food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Correcting unsafe practices or conditions and notifying management

REQUIREMENTS :

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus
• Team player
• Must be available to work various shifts including opens, swings, and closes
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
• Good vision including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus
• Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Able to work in hot and cold environments
