Off The Hook in Lafayette, LA, a quick-casual Cajun concept, seeks a reliable dishwasher to support a busy kitchen and ensure top-quality cleanliness.

You will help maintain clean dishes and work areas, assist teammates, and follow food-safety standards in a high-energy environment that aims to deliver Real Cajun Real Fast meals.

Flexible shifts including evenings and weekends may be required, and training will be provided to uphold our standards while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
• No prior experience required, but helpful in fast-paced kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes at a high-quality that meet our restaurant's standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations

• Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for work related functions and training
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license
