Job summary

Off The Hook Restaurants is seeking motivated team players to join our fast-paced Cajun kitchen. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized workspace and support cooks to deliver premium Real Cajun Real Fast dishes to guests.

In this role you will work with the kitchen team, learn new prep tasks, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience in a quick-service setting. This position requires 16+ years of age, completion of company training, and a commitment to Equal Opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and training sessions
• Complete required company training programs
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license

• Wash dishes to high-quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and kitchen equipment
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen with energy
• Craft exceptional dishes and deliver a memorable dining experience
• Handle kitchen tasks including food prep, cooking and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling/storage
• Report malfunctions to management and use equipment safely
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes at a high-quality that meet our restaurant's standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements For Success

• Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for work related functions and training
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
