Job summary

Elevate Entertainment Group in the Austin area is seeking a hardworking Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dish area. You will wash dishes, pots, and pans, restock ware, and support safe food handling practices.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work under pressure, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A HS diploma or GED is preferred; 18+; prior dishwashing experience is a plus.

• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Maintain high safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Washes all dishes from the restaurant.
• Cleans pots and pans from the kitchen.
• Restocks plate ware for the restaurant and kitchen.
• Upholds proper safety and sanitation practices.
• Mops floors and maintains clean work areas.
• Cleans dishwashing machines, sinks, and drains.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a manager.

Job Description

The Dishwasher is responsible for properly washing and sanitizing dishware and keeping the dish area clean and organized.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Washes all dishes from the restaurant
• Washes pots and pans from the kitchen
• Restock plate ware for the restaurant and kitchen
• Practice and uphold proper safety and sanitation
• Mop floors
• Clean the dishwashing machine, sinks, drains
• Any other duties assign by a manager

Skills + Abilities included but are not limited to:

• Able to take direction and work together as a team
• Works calmly and executes job duties effectively under pressure
• High safety, sanitation, and food handling standards

Education + Experience + Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
