Part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, we are seeking a Dishwasher. The purpose of this position is to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain all nutrition services storage areas in an orderly manner. The role involves assisting in other kitchen areas with maintenance of the dish room and equipment, all in accordance with the standard procedures of the dining services department.

In This Role, The Dishwasher Will

• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
• Maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion daily.
• Transport carts to and from dining areas.
• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Monitor and record water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.
• Perform cleaning assignments as directed.
• Clean and wash food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc., and store them properly.
• Use proper sanitation in all food and service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.
• Deliver food requests to stations as needed.
• Keep all kitchen work areas and dining rooms free of dirty dishes.
• Perform other cleaning assignments as directed.
• Sweep and mop floors and work areas.
• Assist in the transportation of residents during emergencies, such as fire or disaster, according to procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous relevant experience.
• Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff.

Compensation Pay Range

$14.23 - $16.95

Reasonable Pay Estimate

The estimated pay range is $14.23 - $16.95, with actual pay determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and internal/external equity.
