Job description

A Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing and drying dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. They would also be tasked with bussing tables, taking out trash, and possibly assisting with other kitchen tasks as needed.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing: Washing and drying dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using both hand washing and dish machine techniques.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment, including cleaning the dish area, equipment, and chemicals.
• Trash Removal: Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
• Assistance: Assisting other team members with unloading deliveries, storing supplies, and other tasks as needed.
• Food Safety: Adhering to food safety procedures and regulations.
• Other Duties: May be responsible for changing dish machine chemicals, water, and the three-compartment sink.
• Inspection: Inspecting and verifying that the dish machine is working properly and chemical levels are correct throughout the workday.
