Job summary

Lawrence Healthcare is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain sanitation of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment in a hospital setting. You will help ensure CMS food safety standards are met and support tray line operations at meal times.

You will also manage the dry storage area, stock and rotate products, and complete the daily cleaning schedule while following all hospital policies. The role is safety sensitive with strict uniform and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, take verbal instruction and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and dishwashing equipment.
• Assist tray line at meal times, activating bases, dipping food, pulling carts, and general tray line assistance.
• Manage dry storage area for truck deliveries: stocking, rotating, labeling, dating products.
• Assist with dish room between meals and maintain 3 compartments sink documentation log.
• Follow daily cleaning schedule and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Job Objective/Summary:

This position ensures that dishwashing procedures meet CMS food safety and sanitation requirements. Assists on tray line at meal times including: activating the bases, dipping food up in bowls, pulling carts and general tray line assistance. Is responsible for the dry storage area for truck deliveries stocking, rotating, labeling, dating products. Assists with dish room between meals. Responsible for 3 compartments sink documentation log. Daily cleaning schedule assignments. Adheres to all policies and procedures for both hospital and LHHR. Wears proper uniform while on duty.

Job Educations, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have the ability to read, write, take verbal instruction and perform basic arithmetic.
