Job summary

Goode Company in Houston is seeking a conscientious Dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly by washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and utensils.

You will operate dish machines, maintain a clean, organized area, handle waste safely, and support the team during busy shifts; flexibility for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Dish, janitorial, kitchen, warehouse, or other physically active experience is helpful.
• Reliability, urgency, organization, and careful attention to sanitation.
• Ability to follow chemical, equipment lifting, and workplace safety procedures.
• Food Handler Certification

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, sort, and store dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and equipment.
• Operate commercial dish equipment and use chemicals according to safety instructions.
• Maintain clean floors, drains, mats, walls, bins, and utility areas.
• Remove trash, recycling, and cardboard safely and on schedule.
• Communicate breakage, equipment issues, chemical needs, or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Assist with basic cleaning, organization, or prep tasks when assigned.
