Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines and inspect results.

• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Ensure sufficient clean dishes during peak hours.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed.
• Report any issues with washing machines promptly.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dish washing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
• Prep work
• Washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors
• Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine
• Setting up and breaking down the cafeteria
• Assisting in putting deliveries away in the coolers and freezers
• Scheduling: Work schedules will change weekly to meet business demands

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as a Dishwasher
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day
