Job summary

Hundredfold American Brasserie in Elmont, New York is hiring a full-time Dishwasher. You will help ensure health and safety standards by keeping kitchen and serving equipment spotless.

Pay is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, with weekly pay and opportunities for training and development, plus employee discounts and flexible schedules as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Able to stand for long shifts and perform repetitive tasks without fatigue.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans and utensils using hand wash or dishwasher machine with sanitizer levels meeting health standards.
• Store clean dishes and cooking equipment properly.
• Clean work area including floors, walls, and storage areas to maintain organized spaces.
• Remove trash from dish room and sanitize garbage cans and dispose of waste appropriately.

Pay

$18.00 – $19.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Using hands or a dishwasher to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items, ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards


• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment


• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organised


• Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans

Physical requirements

• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs, placing items above and below head height


• Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms
