Job summary

Emmy Squared Durham is seeking an experienced Dishwasher to keep back-of-house operations efficient in a fast-paced, upscale casual setting.

You'll clean and sanitize cookware and dishware, maintain organization of the dish area, assist with waste disposal, and support the kitchen team with back-of-house tasks, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant back-of-house experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Walk and stand for extended periods with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing cookware, utensils, and dishware following Emmy Squared standards.
• Keeping the dish area organized and ensuring proper machine temperature and chemical safety.
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors and back-of-house spaces.
• Properly disposing of waste and following dumpster procedures.
• Supporting the kitchen team with additional back-of-house tasks as assigned by management.
