Job summary

The Oasis Club at CG in Davenport, FL, part of Troon, is hiring a Part-Time Dishwasher for a seasonal 6-month stint. You will maintain cleanliness of china, glassware, and utensils in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include sorting, scrubbing, loading machines, changing water, and general kitchen and restroom cleaning, while following health regulations. Candidates should be dependable, able to work in a team, and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils and sends through the dish machine.
• Sorts and stacks clean dishes.
• Changes dishwater in the dish machine every hour.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Removes trash and garbage to the dumpster.
• Sets up or breaks down the dishwashing area.
• Cleans and rolls/unrolls mats.
• Fills and empties soak tubs with cleaning solutions.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Sweeps up trash around exterior of restaurant and dumpster.
• Conducts general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
• Wipes spills to keep kitchen floors dry.
• Maintains compliance with Health regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

The Dishwasher and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and similar items, using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and places them in racks to send through the dish machine
• Sorts and stacks clean dishes
• Changes dishwater in the dish machine every hour
• Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand
• Removes trash and garbage to the dumpster
• Sets up or breaks down the dishwashing area
• Cleans and rolls/unrolls mats
• Fills and empties soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Sweeps and mops floors
• Sweeps up trash around the exterior of the restaurant and garbage dumpster
• Conducts general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
• Wipes up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
• Maintains full compliance with Department of Health regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
