Brentwood, a Vandelay Companies restaurant in Dallas, is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and support service excellence.

You will wash dishes, stock the dish room, and assist with general cleaning to ensure smooth hospitality operations and guest satisfaction. Must be 18+, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure constant availability of clean service ware.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dish room during service.
• Care for kitchen machines and appliances such as mixers, pots, pans, sheet trays, and other cookware.
• Support kitchen readiness by cleaning cook stations and preparing the back-of-house for the next shift.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and properly storing deliveries as needed.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and dish room floors, ensuring sanitation standards.
• Remove trash, recycle appropriately, and rinse out garbage cans to uphold sanitation standards.
• Support the broader restaurant team by assisting with additional cleaning or organizational tasks as needed.
• Report any kitchen accidents, equipment issues, or food safety concerns to leadership promptly.
• Execute end-of-night closing duties, including shutting down, cleaning, and maintaining the dish machine.
• Help ensure the restaurant is clean and guest-ready by assisting with cleaning dining room floors, patios, and restrooms before business hours.

About the Opportunity

A Dishwasher at Brentwood plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the kitchen. This position is responsible for washing and sanitizing all tableware, cookware, and equipment, as well as keeping the dish room clean, orderly, and fully stocked. Dishwashers support the culinary and service teams by ensuring they have the tools they need to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Core Responsibilities
