Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares. Dishwashers also handle trash disposal and linen bag removal. Ensure washed items meet temperature criteria, and help provide guests with a clean and enjoyable dining experience by maintaining spotless plates and silverware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils
• Practice food safety and sanitation
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed
• General cleaning of the restaurant
• Manage dish execution pace and organization
• Understand how the dish machine operates and handle chemicals safely
• Change water and chemicals as needed
• Keep floors clean and dry
• Ensure plates and smallware are clean
• Inspect food receiving, preparation, and storage areas for safety compliance
• Report unsafe practices or conditions to management

Requirements

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Team player
• Availability to work various shifts (opens, swings, closes)
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs
• Good vision and ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Manual dexterity for handling objects and tools
