Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations. You will maintain clean, sanitized work areas and ensure all dishware, cookware, and equipment meet food safety standards while supporting the dining team to deliver quality meals for residents.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to sanitation logs, and a positive attitude to help create a safe, organized kitchen environment that enhances resident well-being and daily living.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain dishwashing and pot washing stations
• Operate dish machines per manufacturer instructions
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware
• Maintain accurate temperature and sanitation logs
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and prep areas
• Assist with storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies
• Follow OSHA and food safety regulations at all times
• Support dining service duties as assigned. You help create a safe, organized kitchen environment that supports quality meal service and resident well-being.

Pay Range

15.00 - 18.75
