Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers also handle trash disposal and linen bag removal. Ensure washed items meet temperature criteria. Help provide an AUS-SOME dining experience by showcasing our food on clean plates and silverware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils
• Practice food safety and sanitation
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed
• Perform general cleaning of the restaurant
• Manage pace and organization of dish execution
• Understand how the dish machine operates and handle chemicals safely
• Change water and chemicals as needed
• Keep floors clean and dry
• Ensure plates and smallware are clean
• Inspect food receiving, preparation, and storage areas for safety and health compliance
• Correct unsafe practices or conditions and notify management

Requirements

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Team player
• Availability to work various shifts including opens, swings, and closes
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs
• Good vision and ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Use of hands for handling objects and controls
