Summary: Keeps the work areas of the kitchen, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

Duties and responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash by hand or place in racks or on the conveyor to the dishwasher machine.
2. Collect dirty utensils and pots from the kitchen.
3. Load and unload the dishwasher.
4. Wash specific items by hand (e.g., wooden boards, large pots, and delicate porcelain).
5. Store clean dishes and glass utensils properly.
6. Ensure that clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are always available, especially during peak hours.
7. Maintain the warehouse of cleaning supplies (e.g., detergents) and order when necessary.
8. Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, including cleaning inside and outside, sweeping, cleaning windows, and filters.
9. Follow the rules and regulations of the restaurant.
10. Check the operation of the washing machine and report issues promptly.
11. Change and transport garbage to the dumps.
12. Transfer supplies and equipment between warehouses and work areas.
13. Extract dirty water according to company policies.
14. Meet nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
