Job summary

Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q in Bluffton, SC is seeking a dependable dishwashing team member. You’ll keep dishes, utensils, and smallwares moving through the machine and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

This hands-on, high-energy role requires standing 8+ hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and supporting cooks and managers as needed. No experience is required, and many team members have grown into higher roles.

Keep dishes, utensils, and smallwares moving through the machine and back to the line, keep the dish pit and kitchen floors clean and safe, and jump in wherever the team needs a hand. You keep the whole restaurant running. We know it, and we don't forget it.

The Physical Stuff:

This role is hands-on and high-energy. You’ll be on your feet 8+ hours a day standing and walking for extended periods while lifting up to 50 lbs in a live kitchen and stock room areas. Bending, reaching, climbing, and equipment operation are all part of the craft. These requirements reflect the essential functions of the role and may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
