Flapjack Brewery – Part-Time Dishwasher (Entry Level)

Location: Berwyn, IL

Flapjack Brewery is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is an entry-level position with growth potential for the right candidate.

Schedule:

• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM (or close)
• Must be available to work these hours weekly.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of and adherence to health and safety codes.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an Illinois Food Service Sanitation Certification upon hire.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Background check required.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and glassware.
• Set up and maintain dishwashing stations, including sinks and dish machines.
• Change water regularly as required by business levels.
• Assist in basic food prep and portioning.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and dry throughout the shift.
• Manage trash and recyclables, ensuring timely removal.
• Help receive and store food deliveries.
• Follow daily cleaning checklists.
• Support kitchen staff with stocking and additional tasks as needed.
