Responsabilités

• Wash & sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils using commercial dishwashing methods.
• Maintain organization by storing items properly in designated areas.
• Keep the dish pit clean and orderly throughout the shift.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a safe, dry environment.
• Monitor and manage waste, recycling, and compost according to procedures.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks and help with deliveries when needed.
• Follow local food safety and sanitation standards and report equipment issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils. You will play an essential part in keeping our kitchen running efficiently and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for both our staff and guests.

Core Responsibilities

• Wash & Sanitize: Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand when necessary.


• Organization & Storage: Safely sort, stack, and store clean items in their designated storage areas and workstations.


• Maintain the Dish Pit: Keep the dishwashing station organized, clean, and free of clutter.


• Kitchen Cleanliness: Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout the shift to ensure they remain clean and dry.


• Waste Management: Monitor and empty kitchen trash cans, recycling bins, and compost, breaking down boxes as needed.


• Team Support: Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks (e.g., peeling or chopping vegetables) and help unload food deliveries when requested.


• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all local food safety, workplace hygiene, and sanitation standards. Report any equipment malfunctions to the manager immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior commercial kitchen experience is a plus, but not required—we are happy to provide on-the-job training.


• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and move continuously for an 8-to-10 hour shift, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.


• Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.


• Environmental Comfort: Ability to work comfortably in hot, damp, and humid kitchen environments.


• Availability: Flexible schedule, including the willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs.
