Dial Senior Living in Batavia, IL is seeking a part-time dishwasher with weekend availability to support dining services. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment, assisting with kitchen duties, and ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen for residents.

Shifts cover lunch/dinner windows, with potential for additional duties such as serving. Candidates should be at least 16 years old and able to read, write, and understand English.

Qualifications

• Must be age 16 or older.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher and ensure proper sanitation of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and trays.
• Hand wash kitchen items not suitable for the dishwasher.
• Store items properly and maintain a tidy kitchen.
• Notify manager if dish machine malfunctions or requires maintenance.
• Clean equipment, appliances, storage areas, and sinks as scheduled.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep, restocking, or delivering clean items.
• Provide customer service to residents to ensure high satisfaction.
• Bus tables during and after meals and clear tables as requested.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment per health requirements.
• Perform routine preventative cleaning on the dish machine.

Salary Range: $15.50 To $16.50 Hourly

Position Available :

Part-time (Saturday/Sunday)

• Lunch/Dinner 11:00am - 7:30pm

Full Time (Weekends Dishwashing + Weekdays Serving)

• Lunch/Dinner 11:00am - 7:30pm (dish)
• Lunch/Dinner 11:00am - 7:00pm (server)

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be age 16 or older
• Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
• Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
• Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
• Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down
