Dial-Senior-Living in Batavia, IL is seeking a part-time dishwasher with weekend availability. Shifts run 11:00am–7:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential full-time weekends dishwashing plus weekday serving duties.

Qualifications

• Must be age 16 or older.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher and ensure proper sanitation of kitchenware including dishes, silverware, pots, pans and trays.
• Hand wash kitchen items not suitable for the dishwasher.
• Store items in their proper spot and maintain a tidy and organized kitchen.
• Notify manager if dish machine malfunctions or requires maintenance.
• Clean equipment, appliances, storage area, and sinks according to schedule.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep, item restock, or delivery of clean items when needed.
• Provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction.
• Bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents are finished eating, as requested.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment as required by local and state health departments.
• Perform routine preventative cleaning on dish machine according to schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be age 16 or older
• Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
• Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
• Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
• Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down
